Glen Norcliffe


Glen Norcliffe (Canada) is an economic geographer interested in the production, marketing and use of cycles both in the current era and historically. He views cycles as one of the signature artifacts of the modern era, and a bellwether indicator of the human condition. His research into cycling has taken him to several countries. His current research with colleagues at the University of Graz in Austria and Universitas Brawijaya in Indonesia explores the manufacture and use of adaptive bicycles made for persons with disability. His hobby is The Huron Bicycle Museum located in Kincardine, Ontario, Canada. Email: [email protected]
