Pierre Bernier


Pierre Bernier (Canada) is a professional mime artist who included cycles into his shows. For example; "Vélomime" (1986), "HOMO VELOX" (1989), "PIERO VELO" (1998) with songs and pantomime and "Ballet Vélocipédique" (2003). He always including an historic aspect into these shows, same thing for his street performance with different cycles. He worked with many museums and tour in many countries as assistant-director of Robert Lepage. His concept of an active museum "MUSEOVELO" create in 1993, was presented in many places around Québec. It became a bike shop from 2005 to 2010 in Québec City. After, it was on the road with 85 cycles in a 16 foot truck. When empty, his inside walls were showing a poster's collection, including bicycles stamps and medals. Now is writing a guide to cycle history and a "velobiography". Email: [email protected]
