Ville Laamanen
Ville Laamanen (from 2019 Ville Soimetsä) is a University Teacher in Contemporary History at the University of Turku, Finland. His research focuses on international and transnational history of the Baltic Sea region, Finnish and European 20th century political history, the interaction between politics and culture, the role of the individual in history, the history youth activism, oral history, and the political uses of history.
