Jinya Huang is a D.Phil. student at the University of Sussex, researching the representation of sportswomen in 19th-century English literature. She also works as an interpreter for social services. She cycled with the Central London CTC until a ruthless gang in Bloomsbury wrecked her bicycle, and anti-social kids in her neighbourhood stole the remains she had planned to restore.
