This ride is an optional event associated with the 25th International Cycle History Conference (ICHC) held in Baltimore, Maryland (USA), on August 6-9, 2014.
This event will start with the riders collecting at the commuter train station in Baltimore at 9:00 AM for a train ride into Washington, DC. Riders can also join this ride at the train station in Washington at :00 AM when the group of riders from Baltimore arrive.
Riders can bring their own bicycles or rent from the Washington rental system at the start of the ride.
This ride will be led by Ken Gray ([email protected]) and Carey Williams, ([email protected]) and it will consist of an initial 10 mile ride around the central part of Washington followed by an additional 15 miles out to the edges of the city for those who want to continue. There will be a lunch stop at a place where riders can purchase food items.
Conference participants who want to do the Ride around Washington, DC, on Sunday, August 10th must register. This form is attached below for your use. Note: Registration for this Ride can be done at the International Cycle History Conference before the actual ride.
